Our Mission
As a student in Germany in the eighties, I wanted to do more than just study and take exams. So when I was asked to represent Germany in a project in Central America, I jumped at the chance.
How you can help

Summer of Service
In August 1987 I came back from digging holes and carrying rocks in a tiny village in Guatemala to a battle with anarchists on the streets and in the courthouse. From a country in civil war to one locked in the grip of a cold war. Within three years Germany had changed. For Guatemala peace came in slow steps. Miracles are when things appear to change fast. However, the peace process in Guatemala was none the less real. At least for me it is all real.

What is CARP? When I joined we were a group of students and missionaries trying to make some action on the campus. We were students learning about Principles and doing rallies on the street to let people know about God’s message and the dangers of Communism. We also talked about the responsibility of academics to guide in moral issues, the unity of science and religion.
